When my son was born I quit my band and reinvented myself as much more responsible than I had been previously, which was perhaps not at all. But I think I grew by a significant order of magnitude. Despite this growth I missed making music quite a lot and for a lack of time and attention i turned backwards to production techniques (fruityloops) i used to use in my friend Jake's living room when we were teenagers. Were they great productions? no. but they led to me producing a pretty sweet rap record a few years later that I traded for some really sweet headphones (im wearing them right now).
